On December 19, 2014, Frank left to answer the call from the spiritual all-star percussion section. The relatives and friends of Mr. Franklin J. Worsham are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be at Live Oak Memorial Gardens and a reception will follow at the church hall. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday evening at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway. A native Charlestonian born January 24, 1957, he was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Phillips Worsham, Sr. and Frances Eleanor Wheeler Worsham. Those left to cherish his life are Gail Waters, the love of his life, a sister, Mary Anne W. Armstrong and a brother Thomas Phillips Worsham, Jr. Frank is also survived by nine first cousins, two nephews and two nieces. He attended Bishop England and St. Andrew's High Schools where he was a member of their bands. He was an expert in automotive body restoration and owned his own business. Frank was a rare, kind and generous man who exceled in all his pursuits. His profession was his passion. Frank left his mark in Charleston's music community from an early age playing in church and community groups. He was a founding member of Revel, Safe Sex, & Whiskey and Perfume. He was also a member of the Police Pipes and Drums. He took pride in his home and neighborhood organizing the "Sylvan Shores" Golf Cart Parade. This year the parade will be held in his memory.
