Frank J. Caple, Jr.

Funeral services for Frank J. Caple, Jr., 75, will be held at 9am on Monday, October 29, 2012 at The Church of Saint John the Beloved 28 Sumter Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to MUSC Hollings Center Office of Development, 86 Jonathan Lucas Street, MSC 955 Charleston, SC 29425. Mr. Caple was born November 11, 1936 in Olean, NY and passed away on October 24, 2012. He was the son of the late Frank and Marian Caple, Sr. Mr. Caple worked at AVX Corporation for 25 years as a Director of Management Information Systems. He graduated in 1960 from The Citadel with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is a veteran having served in The United States Army. He was a member of Saint Michael's Catholic Church in Garden City, SC for 35 years before moving to Summerville, SC. Mr. Caple is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marcia Figg Caple, his son Frank J. Caple, III (Mary Doris) of Winston-Salem, NC, his daughters Cathy McGrew (Mark) of Summerville, SC, Cindy Inabnett (Bubba) of Summerville, SC, Peggy Phillips (Shane) of Lexington, SC, grandchildren, Meredyth Merkling (Jon), Legrand Inabnett, Lauren McGrew, Nicholle Inabnett, Candace Phillips, Mark McGrew, Logan Phillips, and great grandchild, Jonathan Merkling.
