Frank Burmester, Jr.

Howard Frank Burmester Jr., 70, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on May 17, 2024.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road, Charleston.

Frank was born December 30, 1953, in Charleston, SC. He was the son of Lytle Marguerite Binnicker and Howard Frank Burmester, Sr. Frank was a longtime member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and sang in the choir for many years. He graduated from Middleton High School and the College of Charleston, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. Frank had several careers during his life but enjoyed the last job as a limousine driver the most.

Frank is survived by his sister, Marsha Burchfield and his friend, Beth Knowles.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Blessed Sacrament Building Fund for a new parish life center or to the Music Ministry for a new organ, 5 St. Teresa Drive, Charleston, SC 29407.
