Entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 7, 2010, Frances Wheeler Worsham, the widow of Thomas Phillips Worsham. She was born in Norwich, NY a daughter of Franklin Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Roberts Wheeler on Friday, May 19, 1922, and was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School in Jacksonvile, FL. She became an active member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, started and ran the Senior Adult Program for over 20 years, was a charter member of the Ladies Guild, was a Girl Scout Leader for over 10 years and a volunteer for the SC Lung Association. She retired from the Charleston County School District after many years of faithful service and also worked at the Charleston Naval Shipyard, the Charleston County Welfare Department and for Coca Cola while she lived in Florida. "Frannie" as she was affectionately known to her friends loved music and taught piano in her home for many years. Surviving are two sons, Thomas Phillips Worsham, Jr. and Franklin Joseph Worsham; a daughter, Mary Anne W. Armstrong and four grandchildren. The relatives and friends of Frances W. Worsham are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 11, 2010, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be at Live Oak Memorial Gardens.
