Frances Maynard Bonsal

Frances Maynard. Bonsal, 71, of Charleston died Thursday, November 10, 2011. She was born in New York, NY, a daughter of Warwick Potter and Frances Canfield Bonsal on February 19, 1940. She attended The Chapin School and graduated from Smith College in 1961. Frances was the Director of Louise Hanahan's Little School and taught there for forty-six years. She is survived by her brother, Warwick P. Bonsal, Jr. and cousins, Mary LiLi Whitmer, George Dana Sinkler, Caroline Hanahan Dean, Alida Hanahan Hudson, and predeceased by Huger Sinkler, Jr. She leaves a host of cousins, godchildren and students who adored her. The relatives and friends of Frances M. Bonsal are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 14, 2011, at St. Philip's Episcopal Church. Burial will be private.
