Charleston, SC - The Reverend Norman Page Trimmier (6-8-1931 - 10-26-2013) The Reverend Norman Page Trimmier, 82, passed on to larger life at his home on Saturday, October 26, 2013 after an extended illness. He was born in Spartanburg, SC on June 8th 1931, the son of Norman Page Sr. & Edna Reaves Trimmier. Siblings include Nancy T. English, Sylacauga, AL, Eleanor T. Daigle, Montz, LA, C. David Trimmier(Carolyn) Evans, GA. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Elizabeth Bennett Trimmier on April 19 of this year. Father Trimmier served with honor as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. He was an Oblate in the Order of Saint Benedict, Bethlehem Priory, Lexington, Kentucky. He was employed in secular work as the Recreational Director for The City of Augusta, Georgia before becoming the 5th Rector of Saint Timothy's Anglican Catholic Church, 1900 Parsonage Road,West Ashley. Father was made a Deacon in March 1988 and ordained a Priest May 1989 at Holy Cross Church Augusta, Georgia. His surviving children are sons: Norman P. Trimmier, III and Benjamin Carl Trimmier. Step-children: Dickson Dunlap, David Dunlap, Debbie Lott (husband Gus) and Donna Ingram (husband Greg). Surviving grandchildren are Jason Lott, Joanne Lehman (husband Matt), Morgan Hall (husband Rhett), Brian Dunlap, Sarah Ingram, John Ingram, Drew Ingram and Evan Dunlap. Surviving great-grandchildren are Marley Ray, Emma Hall, Betsy Hall and Mary Alice Lehman. The relatives and friends of the Reverend Norman P. Trimmier Jr. are invited to attend his Requiem, which will be said by The Most Rev'd Mark Haverland P.H.D., with Canon Frederick Bentley OHI assisting, at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 2, 2013 from St. Timothy's Anglican Catholic Church. Interment will be directly thereafter at the church. There will be no visitation hours. Memorial contributions in Father Trimmier's honor may be sent to Saint Timothy's Church, 1900 Old Parsonage Road, Charleston, SC 29414.
