Erin Heissenbuttle Mccown

Erin Heissenbuttle McCown, 43, of Hanahan, SC, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston SC 29407.

Erin was born in Charleston, SC to her parents Roy Heissenbuttle and Donna Donnelly Heissenbuttle.

Erin was a beautiful person inside and out. She was kindhearted and compassionate, selfless and giving. Her memory will live on through her two beautiful daughters, Hannah and Lily. As a registered nurse, Erin worked at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) at the  Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital. She was a natural at her profession, with a devoted and kind spirit that brought a special light to her patients and coworkers alike.

Above all, Erin loved spending time with her two beautiful daughters. She also loved the beach, crabbing and fishing with her girls, listening to country music and attending concerts. Erin loved to be adventurous, exploring the outdoors, dancing, cruising on the boat and vacationing with her family.

Erin is survived by he daughters, Hannah Grace McCown and Lily Claire McCown of Hanahan, SC; her parents, Roy Heissenbuttle and Donna Donnelly Heissenbuttle; her sister, Allyson Driggers and her husband Raymond as well as her nieces, Grayson Driggers, Madelyn Driggers and Carsyn Driggers.
