Emily "Armee" Lesemann Sadler CHARLESTON - Emily "Armee" Lesemann Sadler, 93, widow of Ralph Wilson Sadler, entered into eternal rest on the evening of Saturday, April 4, 2015. The family will receive friends between 5:00 and 7:00 PM Thursday evening at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway. A graveside service will be held at a later date. The eldest of four children by Karl J and Emily Jahnz Lesemann, Armee is predeceased by her sister and two brothers - Elizabeth Lesemann Koester, Jack J. Lesemann and Karl J. Lesemann. Armee is survived by her three children - Robert Karl Sadler (Francie A. Sadler), Nancy Sadler Byrnside and Ralph Thomas Sadler. Additional survivors include her five grandchildren - Amee Sadler Leland (Legare), Bryan David Byrnside, Hayes Sadler Moore (Chad), Julie Elizabeth Maricich (Michael), Drew Sadler (Aleshia) and her five great-grandchildren. A native to Charleston, Armee attended Memminger, Kraft and Winthrop University. She attended St. Johns Lutheran Church as a lifetime member of the congregation. Later in life she developed a passion for tennis and played on a team at the Country Club of Charleston for many years. The family of Emily "Armee" Leseman Sadler wishes to express loving gratitude to the wonderfully attentive staff of Myers Hall, Arcadia and The Cloisters at the Bishop Gadsden Retirement Center.
