Elsie M. Ivanitz

Elsie M. Ivanitz, 85, of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Scotch Plains, NJ, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 26, 2011 in Charleston, SC. She was born in Perth Amboy, NJ, the daughter of Albert Dolinich and Anna Szirak Dolinich, on March 14, 1926. Mrs. Ivanitz was a retired book keeper with The Chelsea Senior Living. She is survived by her family, Thomas J. Ivanitz, Nancy L. Sorokach, Janice A. Preckwinkle, Jason Ivanitz and Kristin L. Gendreau. The relatives and friends of Elsie M. Ivanitz are invited to attend her Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM, Saturday, April 9, 2011 at St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church, 2032 Westfield Ave. Scotch Plains, NJ 07076. The Rite of Committal will be held in Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Cemetery in Perth Amboy. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Socastee United Methodist Church, Swansgate Apartment Senior Christmas Fund, 5575 Dick Pond Rd. Myrtle Beach, SC 29588 in her honor.
