Elizabeth Hayes Spencer

Mrs. Elizabeth Hayes Spencer 78, wife of the late Alfred E. Spencer, entered into eternal rest on Sunday March 10, 2013, at her residence. Born January 9, 1935, in Doles, GA, she was the daughter of the late John Allison Hayes and Clara Mae Thompson. She was a homemaker who loved her family and friends. Elizabeth was a member of Northbridge Baptist Church. She was an avid sports fan who loved the Atlanta Braves. She is survived by her children Richard Spencer, R. Dale Johnson, Olivia Ahrens and Brian Johnson. Nine Grandchildren Richard Johnson, Kelly Spencer, Kristopher Johnson, Steven Spencer, Jessica Ahrens, Kevan Johnson, Kayla Johnson, Taylor Ahrens, and K.C. Ahrens. One Great Granddaughter Shanna Johnson. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her son, Danny Johnson. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Elizabeth Hayes Spencer are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at the James A. McAlister Chapel. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening between 5:00 and 7:00 PM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy.
