Margie Elisabeth Northcutt Morgan, 90, of Charleston, SC, widow of Thurman T. Morgan, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 26, 2017. Elisabeth, affectionately known as 'Cissi' to her family, was born April 28, 1927 in McBee, SC, a daughter of the late Alma Blackwell and Neal Wyman Northcutt. A graduate of Hartsville High School, Cissi attended Coker College before moving to Charleston, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the College of Charleston. She was a civil service employee with the Charleston Army Depot, retiring after thirty years of service. While still in college, Cissi married Thurman T. Morgan in 1974. After his retirement from the Army Corps of Engineers, they spent over 25 years traveling the world and enjoying life to the fullest. Both Cissi and Thurman were members of the South Carolina Historical Society and the Charleston Library Society. Cissi was an active member of the Unitarian Church in Charleston. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.Cissi is survived by her sister, Jewel Northcutt Evans; Nephew Dr. Hugh Neal Northcutt (Melanie) of Matthews, NC, Nephew Kent D. Evans of Charleston; Niece Susan E. Evans (Bob Watts) of Charleston; Niece Anne Northcutt Hansen (Mark) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and her Stepson Larry Morgan; and 11 great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, her brother Harold Wyman Northcutt, and nephew Michael B.
