Entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 30, 2010, Eleanora Bernardin Molinaroli. The relatives and friends of Mrs.Eleanora B. Molinaroli are invited to attend her Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at St. John Catholic Church, 3921 St. John's Ave., North Charleston, SC.Burial will be private. Born in Barre, Vt. in 1911 the eldest of three children of John and Carlotta Bernardin who immigrated from a small town in the Italian Alps. The family later moved to Columbia, SC. Nora received a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina and a Master's Degree in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania. She taught chemistry at the College of William and Mary and later worked in the laboratories of the SC Public HealthDepartment. Nora married her childhood friend, the late Remo Molinaroli, a civil engineer with the U.S. Soil Conservation Service and the Charleston District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. They both loved music,reading,gardening and were avid art collectors. She was a devoted homemaker, cook and seamstress. In 1969 after Remo's death, she worked at the West Ashley Library. She served as a dedicated volunteer in the Girl Scouts, Red Cross, PTA, Catholic Women's Club and was a very active member of the Charleston Garden Club. She is survived by her three children: Judith M. Pascullis and her husband Vito of Charleston, Carla M. DeMille and her husband Jeffrey of Charleston and Richard A. Molinaroli of Washington, DC, her sister Olga B. Thorp of Fayettville, NC, grandchildren: Catherine P. Jaskowiak of St. Albans, England, Richard L.DeMille and Brian R. DeMille both of Charleston, SC and Lauren K. Burns of Chapin, SC. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Aidan, Richard and Myles Jaskowiak of St. Albans, England. Nora was preceded in death by her husband, and her brother John Bernardin, Jr. The family kindly requests that memorials be made to St.John Food Pantry, 3921 St. John's Ave., N.
