Eleanor Hill Green

Eleanor Hill Green, 95, of Charleston, the widow of Virgil Joseph Green, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Madisonville, OH, the daughter of William H. Hill and Katherine Fausz Hill on Thursday, December 2, 1915. Eleanor was a retired Legal Secretary with the United States Attorney's Office. She is survived by three daughters, Joy Burgmeier, Jan Rigney and Penni Green. Eleanor is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of sixty two years and a daughter Ginny Stoner. The relatives and friends of Eleanor Hill Green are invited to attend her Memorial Service at 4:30 PM, Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the St. James Episcopal Church, 1872 Camp Road Charleston, SC 29412.
