Edward Andrew Peeples, 78, of Charleston, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Charleston, the son of Harry A. Peeples and Edna Schutt Peeples, on Wednesday, June 10, 1931. After graduation from Charleston High School in 1949, Mr. Peeples enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving our country honorably he was awarded the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart during the Korean War. In 1958, He graduated from The Citadel. Mr. Peeples was a retired Industrial Specialist with the Naval Electronic System Command at the Charleston Naval Shipyard and a lifetime member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. He is survived by a son, William E. K. "Kemm" Peeples; a step daughter, Mickee Marsh Brown; Kemm's mother, Carol K. Marsh; two step grandchildren and one step great grandchild. Mr. Peeples was predeceased by a step daughter, Shera Marsh Jones and two brothers, Ralph Peeples and Harry Peeples, Jr..
