Edward Philip Hawkins, 85, of Green Pond, SC, husband of the late Shirley Ann Waite Olson Hawkins, entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 11, 2015.The relatives and friends of Mr. Edward P. Hawkins are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 19, 2015, at the graveside, Live Oak Memorial Gardens, Hwy 61. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 6:00 PMFriday evening at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy. Edward was born inNorth Charlestonon January 5, 1930, a son of the late William D. and Ursula M. Balance Hawkins.Edward is survived by his children, Sheldon W. Hawkins, Philip E. Hawkins and Beverly H. Marcey; step children Stephen M. Olson, Stewart L Olson and Susan C. Olson; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
