Earl Felty, Jr.

The relatives and friends of Earl Felty, Jr. are invited to attend his Memorial Service at 5:00 PM, Thursday, May 8th, 2014 from the chapel of the James A. McAlister funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be offered atwww.JamesAMcAlister.com. Mr. Felty was born in South Shore, KY on April 13, 1931, the son of Earl Sr. and Alberta Timberlake Felty. He is survived by his wife Mary; children Julie and David Saleeba, Jimmy and Charlotte Ross, Robby and Sheila Ross, Tommy and Jeanette Ross, Cynthia and Neal Beckman; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He predeceased by a daughter, Sue Lindamood. Mr. Felty served in the United States Navy. He was retired after 40 years of service from Bank One in Portsmouth, OH. He served for many years in civic and charitable organizations such as the Jaycees, Rotary, Masons and Shriners. During his retirement years he enjoyed spending time with his wife and family in Charleston, SC. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Charleston, 676 Wando Park Blvd., Mt.
