Reynolds was born to Douglas Reynolds Pommering, Jr. and Helen Florence Geraty on January 7, 1959. He attended Porter Gaud and St. Andrews Parish high School, and graduated from the College of Charleston. He worked at Charleston Cab Company, and enjoyed transporting his customers throughout the city he loved and called home all of his life. Reynolds had a brilliant mind and a caring heart. He loved his family and many friends, and worked hard with a special gusto and drive. He was deeply and publicly passionate, and privately compassionate. He was an avid conversationalist unafraid to challenge the status quo. No one enjoyed a vigorous, thoughtful dialogue on history and issues of the day more than Reynolds.
Reynolds is survived by his loving sister Elizabeth (“Liz”) DeLoach, brother in law David, and beloved nephew and niece, Chandler and Madison DeLoach. Arrangements by James A. McAlister, Inc. 766-1365.
