Doris Patricia Walsh (Kowalski)

Doris Patricia "Pat" Walsh (Kowalski) entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 8, 2013. Pat was born March 5, 1934 to the late Lawrence Torlay and Beatrice Meyers of Charleston, SC. She was preceded in death by her sisters Loretta Courtney and Agnes Sandburg and is survived by her sister Mary Bromley of Florida; her four children Raymond, Casimer, Marc and Belinda Kowalski of Charleston; four grandchildren Kira, Tony and Owen Kowalski of Charleston, SC and Fisher Smith of New York City; and her niece Melissa Sandburg of Charleston and many other nieces and nephews. Pat was a graduate of Bishop England High School and retired from the Medical University of South Carolina. The family will be receiving friends June 29, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat's name to Hospice of Charleston, 676 Wando Park Blvd., Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
