Donna W. Keating

Donna Ware Keating, 84, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. The relatives and friends of Donna W. Keating are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial, at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 5 St. Teresa Dr., Charleston. The Rite of Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway. A Vigil Service will begin at 6:45 PM. Donna was born on October 23, 1931 in Miller, SD to loving parents, the late Fern Kehl and John Henry Ware.She is predeceased by her sister, Doris Fulmer; daughters, Theresa Marie and Mary Frances;grandson, Joseph and great grandsons, Jacob and Caleb. She is survived by her sister, Charlene Hargens of SD; 9 children, Donna Marie Keating, Margaret K Bull (Mike), M Monica Keating, Anne K Ellington (Langdon), Joseph W Keating (Macarena), Barbara K Matthews (Dave), Maria K Gabriele (Wally), Christina "Tina" K Moore (James) and Abraham "Abe" J Keating; 18 grandchildren, Meghan, Christopher, Angela, Amy, Ashley, Morgan, Carmen, Encarna, Belén, Maria Joy, Michael, Philnel, Mikey, Leland, Katherine, Stephen, Patrick, and Alexander; 14 great grandchildren, Kameron, Abigail, Kaylee, Porter, Jasper, Josh, Nate, Nathaniel, Isa, Keating, Eva, Paloma, Gianna, and Rory. Donna retired from MUSC, Shahids Uniform Store and volunteered at St. Francis Hospital. She is known as "Munner" to family and friends. A woman of faith, she was devoted to her family. In raising her children, she instilled faith, love, compassion, and a solid work ethic. Munner will be greatly missed. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fr.
