Donald Stanford Cargile, 78, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Sunday, October 27, 2024. Donald was born April 7, 1946, a son of Cecil Bostick Cargile of Macon, GA and Sarah Belle Smith of Macon, GA.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Victory Baptist Church, 335 Woodland Shores Drive, Charleston, SC 29412. The burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Monday Evening at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston.
Donald is survived by his sister, Phyllis Osburn and brothers, Kirk Cargile, Dwight Cargile, Anthony Cargile and Craig Cargile. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his sisters, Angela Kennedy, Nancy Newman and Mary Bevis.
