Dolly Myers Small

Mrs. Dolly Myers Small passed on May 24, 2015. A native of Charleston, she was married to James Hampden Small, III. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Dolly Myers Small are invited to attend her Graveside Service 10:30 AM Friday, May 29, 2015 at Magnolia Cemetery, 70 Cunnington Ave. The family receive friends following the service at 26 Church Street. Born November 11, 1931, she was the daughter of Francis K. Myers and Emily Barnwell Myers. She served her community as past presidents of both, The Christian Family Y and The National Society of Colonial Dames of America in the State of South Carolina. She is survived by her two children, Emily Small Ramsay of Charleston, SC and Strachan Thomas Small (Kate) of Marietta, GA, six grandchildren: Mary Barnwell Ramsay, Alexander William Ramsay Jr., George Philp Ramsay II, Francisca Small Duke (Jeremy), Robert Scott Small, and James Barksdale Small, and one great-grandchild, Michael Savage Duke. She is predeceased by her husband of 60 years and daughter, Charlotte Whaley Small. The family would like to thank her loving care givers Tiffany Sears and Sharon Parker and her very special friend Margaret Lynn Dent.
