David Richardson Megerlin

Mr. David Richardson Megerlin, 76, of Charleston, SC, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 22, 2016. The relatives and friends of David and Alice Megerlin are invited to attend his Funeral Service 11:00 AM Thursday, July 7, 2016, at the Mausoleum Chapel of Magnolia Cemetery, 70 Cunnington Avenue, Charleston. Interment will follow at the graveside. Dave was born December 18, 1939, in New York City, the son of the late Alice Richardson and Clifford Megerlin. He was raised in Manhasset, Long Island, where he spent most of his life as an Electronics Engineer in the Defense industry. Dave recently made Charleston his home. He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Alice Harrison Megerlin; two daughters, Carol M. Lacker and husband Wayne, Tracey L. Toomey and husband Nick; four grandchildren: Jordan, Johnathan, Jaclyn, Brittany. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gail Roehrig. Donations in Dave's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
