David Anthony Blyth

November 29, 1956 — September 17, 2021

David Anthony Blyth died on September 17, 2021, at the age of 64 of natural causes. We will miss him dearly as he was a loving part of our family.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM, Friday, September 24, 2021, at Nativity Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

David was born in Charleston, SC on November 29,1956, a son of Thomas James Blyth and Ruby Ackerman Blyth.

He graduated from Bishop England High School and attended the College of Charleston. David spent most of his adult life self-employed, often as a maintenance mechanic. He spent many years managing the apartment complex where he lived. David was very capable of fixing and repairing anything. He was always willing and happy to help family and friends. In his spare time he loved salt-water fishing and caring for animals.

He is survived by two brothers, Steve Blyth (Gayle) and Denis Blyth (Marsha); two sisters, Leslie McDermott (Gene) and Catherine Lauzon (Gil) and a sister-in-law, Rae Ann. David had many cousins, nieces and nephews and he was beloved by all of them. David was predeceased by his brother, Thomas J. Blyth, Jr
