David William Bell

November 16, 1969 — August 28, 2018

David W. “Dave” Bell of Charleston, SC, formerly of Milford, OH, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at the age of 48. He is the father of three beautiful children- Madelyn, Brien and Avery Bell of Cincinnati, OH. Dave is the cherished son of Gary and Bonnie Bell of Charleston, SC, beloved brother to Jeffrey Bell, sister Lori Combs(Rick) and Sue Bernard (Jack). Also survived by 7 nieces Kaitlyn, Sarah (Nick),Lauren, Rebecca, Mallory, Mary Cate, and Elizabeth. Also survived by his Uncle Doug, Aunt JoAnn Nyquist, Aunt Sue Nyquist, and Aunt Cindy Nyquist, many cousins and dear friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents and Uncle, William and Effie Bell, Gordon and Margaret Nyquist, Uncle Gordon Nyquist.

Dave was born November 16, 1969 in Cincinnati, OH. He grew up most of his life in Greater Cincinnati, OH. Dave was a lover of golf, baseball, camping, canoeing, and music. He enjoyed long walks on Folly Beach looking for sharks teeth, and a new passion for photography. Dave is and was loved by so many in so many circles of life. His touch, smile, and good wit empowered all those he knew and met.

The love, peace, and hearts of so many will go with Dave. The multitudes of those surrounding Dave will take with them his love, smile, ingenuity, charisma, and experiences. We all will share wonderful memories, fond feelings, loving heart and carry his spirit into our own lives forward.

Family would like to receive all at James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy, between 6:00 and 8:00 PM Friday August 31, 2018. The Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM September 1, 2018, at the James Island Presbyterian Church, 1632 Fort Johnson Road. Rev. Cameron Smith will officiate. Interment will be held immediately after the service at Holy Cross Cemetery. All those who wish to attend are welcome with open arms by family.
