Collin Potter

October 14, 1991 — December 2, 2023

Collin Potter of Mt. Pleasant, SC, born in Charleston, SC October 14, 1991 abruptly, unexpectedly departed this world December 2, 2023. He was 32 years young. He is survived by his parents, children, grandparents, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Collin was a Christian man, very close to His Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. He attended Trident Tech. Collin was first mate and truly the face, heart, and spirit of his company, not only keeping vessels meticulously pristine, but engaging with all guests to be positive they had a memorable, fun experience on their excursions. He was a climbing arborist always beautifying our world. Collin earned black belts in two styles of Tae Kwon Do, he loved to play the guitar, violin, and he enjoyed playing golf, disc golf and shooting hoops with his friends. Skateboarding was something that he had done for decades since he learned as a small child. He also loved the peace of the beach where he had so many more waves to ride on his surfboard. He exuded positivity and love, always leaving that gorgeous smile with everyone he encountered.

Collin was a fantastic, loving father, a loyal, caring grandson, and the dearest, most kind, devoted, and fun-loving son a mom could ever dream of having. Collin was a gentle, sweet spirit always helping others and putting their needs above his own. He genuinely cared for people, and several times he was late for dinner because he stopped to change someone's tire. He was generous, would without question give anyone the shirt off his back. Collin accepted and loved everyone, always seeing the absolute best in all, so trusting.

His primary love and focus was family, and he was valued so deeply by family and friends. While the loss of Collin has been totally devastating to our family and friends, the loving, vivacious memory of him will live on forever in our hearts and minds until we meet in heaven. When you think of Collin, please say a prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ as a praise thanking Him for His sacrifice for those who choose to accept & worship Him & live today knowing we will see Collin again in Heaven, always remembering the love and kindness Collin so freely gave to all.
