Mrs. Cleo Moskos Collins, 91 of Canton, NC, the widow of Jimmie Collins, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015. The relatives and friends of Cleo Moskos Collins are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, 30 Race St., Charleston, SC. The Committal will be held in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with the Trisagion at 7:00 PM, at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy, Charleston, SC. Cleo was born in Charleston, SC on April 2, 1923, the daughter of Kiriakos Moskos and Kiriaki Palassis Moskos. She is survived by her daughter Karen Collins McGovern, and son-in-law James R. McGovern, of Canton, NC; her Sister Stella Tshontikidis of Satellite Beach, FL.; son-in-law Richard Palmore of Salisbury, NC, as well as many nephews and nieces. Cleo is predeceased by daughter Amelia Collins Palmore. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greek Orthodox Church of Holy Trinity Endowment Fund, 30 Race St., Charleston, SC 29403.
