Claudette S. Humbert

Claudette Sanders Humbert, Daughter of Elizabeth and Frank Sanders, entered into eternal rest on November 26, 2015. The relatives and friends of Claudette Sanders Humbert are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Monday, November 30, 2015 at the Catholic Church of the Nativity, 1061 Folly Road, Charleston. The Rite of Committal will will follow at the Mausoleum of Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends between 4:00 and 6:00 PM Sunday, with a 4:00 Rosary, at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. She will be remembered for her many years of service through Our Lady Of Mercy Community Outreach and the Migrant Outreach service at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Johns Island, SC. Her son, Joseph Balliet, precedes her in passing. Claudette is survived by her Husband of 39 years, Bruce Humbert; Sisters and Brother, Jeanette Kennedy, June Barrineau and Robert Sanders; Children, Susan Wakefield, Kris Balliet, Hank Balliet, and Jamie Humbert; Grandchildren, Douglas Wakefield, Mary Wakefield, Amanda Balliet-Brooks, Joseph Balliet II, Claudia Balliet, River Sterne, Daniel Humbert, and Margaret Humbert; Great-grandchildren, Tyler Brooks, Orin Mcginnigle, Lucy Barnes, and Violet Wakefield.In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be sent to Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach, Johns Island SC, www.olmoutreach.org.
