Clarence Eric Kampmeyer, 76, died Sunday, March 27, 2016. Family and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life , from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM, Saturday, April 2, 2016, at The American Legion, 968 Folly Road, Charleston, S.C. Clarence was born February 25, 1940 in Charleston, SC, a son of Clarence and Gertrude Anderson Kampmeyer. He was an Army National Guard Veteran and retired manager for Duncan Portion Pak, Inc. Clarence Eric Kampmeyer was devoted to his family. He loved spending time on Lake Murray, enjoying every peaceful minute of it! He is survived by his wife, Carol Carpenter Kampmeyer, their 3 sons, Kevin Eric, James Christopher and his wife, Susan, Scott McGregor and his wife, Gatia, his 6 grandchildren: Joshua Hunt, James Eric, Anna Elizabeth, Patrick McGregor, Andrew McCarthy and Meghan Elizabeth and two sisters, Barbara Webb and Brenda Thompson.
