Entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 14, 2012, Mr. Charles Huggins McCraw, Jr. widower of Mary Ann Camp McCraw, of Charleston, SC. Charlie was born in Spartanburg, SC on Thursday, December 5, 1929, a son of Charles Huggins and Lelia Mae Parris McCraw. He graduated from Spartanburg High School and honorably served our country in the US Navy during Korea and Vietnam. Charlie retired after twenty-one years of faithful service. His second career took him to Renken Boat Center where he worked for many years selling boats. Charlie is survived by his children, Charlene McCraw Koger and her husband, Irby; Charles H. "Chuck" McCraw III and his wife, Michelle; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The relatives and friends of Charles H. McCraw, Jr. are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Hwy. Entombment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends this Monday evening between 5:00 and 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to either Pet Helpers 1447 Folly Rd.
