Carolyn C. Marcey

Carolyn C. Marcey, widow of the late Lawrence V. Marcey, passed away on the morning of Monday, April 25, 2016. The relatives and friends of Carolyn C. Marcey are invited to attend her Funeral Service 10:30 AM Thursday, April 28, 2016, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Hwy. The Rite of Committal will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery. The family will receive friends between 5 and 7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.Born on Aug. 20, 1931, in Charleston, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Santo and Rose Convertino. She enjoyed reading, being on the water and playing bingo. Carolyn is survived by her five children, Roseanna Marcey (Gene), Danny (Kathy) Marcey, Donna Maria Marcey, Angelo Marcey, Anthony (Beverly) Marcey, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.She is also survived by her sister Rose Marie Kannapaux, brothers Santo J. Convertino and Charles A. Convertino, and several nieces and nephews.She is dearly loved by her entire family.
