Caroline Conklin Burn, 81, of Charleston, SC, the widow of Robert James Burn, Sr., entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 5, 2011. She was born in Charleston, SC on May 2, 1930, a daughter of the late Mary Frances Molony and Harry C. Conklin. Caroline was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved her family very much. She is survived by her six children, Francie Burn Fisk, Robert James Burn, Jr., Harry Clay Burn, Trudy Burn Descaro, Paulette Burn Klingel, Paul Patrick Burn, Sr.; eleven grandchildren, Brandy, Chad, Shaun, Caroline, Kristin, Timmy, Barry, Robbie, Paul, Tyler, Rhett and seven great grandchildren, Logan, Landon, Chase, Lawson, Braydon, Caitlyn and Lillian. The family will receive friends at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home on Monday, August 8, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 5:30 PM. The relatives and friends of Caroline Conklin Burn are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 9, 2011.
