Camden Justin Burriss, 27, of Charleston SC, entered into eternal rest on May 25, 2020.
He was born in Charleston on February 27, 1993, the son of Kira Burriss-Denardo and W. Patrick Queen.
Camden loved his family and friends more than anything. He was considered the favorite cousin as it didn’t matter the age or how close of a relationship he had with them because he made each one special. Taking the time to laugh, play, help or just listen to each of them. Camden spent a few years working as a cable installer and was even awarded an installer of the year award. That however wasn’t what he really enjoyed doing in life and discovered cooking. He had a renewed enthusiasm for food. Even planting vegetable gardens with his grandmother. The last garden Camden planted is now in full bloom, providing fresh vegetables to his family. To those who knew his heart this would come to no surprise as he was a giving person. Even in his absence his garden provides food and memories to cherish.
Camden is survived by his mother, Kira Burris-Denardo and father, W. Patrick Queen; his sister, Emily Denardo; maternal grandfather, Robert M. Burriss, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Maureen Bradfield; paternal grandmother, Katherine Cremmins; uncles, Robert M. Burriss, Jr., Micheal Burriss, Joshua Burriss, Charles Jenkins, Legare Queen; aunts, Tosha Burriss, Sara Dugan, and 10 cousins ranging from 5 to 23 years of age.
A Memorial Service for Camden J. Burriss will be held 6:00 PM Sunday, June 21, 2020, on the beach at 5th Street East, Folly Beach, SC.
