Robert H. "Bob" Chappell, 78, husband of Dorothy "Dottie" Rementer Chappell, of James Island, entered into eternal rest Friday, October 30, 2026. The relatives and friends of Bob and Dottie Chappell are invited to attend his Funeral Service 1:00 PM Thursday, November 5, 2026 from Fort Johnson Baptist Church, 1473 Camp Road, James Island. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road. The family will receive friends between 5:00 and 7:00 PM Wednesday at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston.
