Billy Glenn Kennedy

Billy Glenn Kennedy died Tuesday, July 26, 2016. The son of James and Faye (Coble) Kennedy, he was born July 15,1953 in Denver, CO. at Fitzsimmons Army Hospital. After his father completed his Army career, the family moved to Greenville, SC where Billy lived most of his life. He was a graduate of Greenville High School. In 2006 he moved to Charleston. Shortly thereafter, he began working at TorqTek Design and Manufacturing as a CNC Machine Operator and continued to work there until his death. Billy was a voracious reader and loved history. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and NFL games. He was an enthusiastic fan of the Atlanta Falcons and the Carolina Panthers-except when they played each other. Then, his only team was the Panthers. Billy is survived by his daughter Kathryn Kennedy Burger (Michael) and his granddaughter Kahlan Rayne of Enoree, SC. Survivors also include his brother Lester (Butch)Kennedy (Sandra), his sisters Jean Kennedy, Vicki Smith and Patti Kennedy; numerous nieces and nephews and the rest of his family and friends, especially those at TorqTek. Memorial Services will be private.
