Beverly Clem Goolsby, husband of Dianne Stone Goolsby, died peacefully on Sunday, June 5, 2016. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Beverly C. Goolsby are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, June 8,2016, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Hwy. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 Noon and time of Service. Clem Goolsby was born on February 14, 1938, a son of Myrtis A. Rowe Goolsby and William Hubbard Goolsby and grew up in Augusta Georgia. At 17, he joined the US Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. His friends, co-workers, and family could always depend on his generous heart. If you had a problem, then he had a problem. And to all who passed his way, he was that bridge over troubled water, if that was your need. There is just one Clem Goolsby out there and God blessed us with Clem's presence in our lives. He is survived by his loving wife, Dianne Stone Goolsby; his daughter, S. Michele Plumley; his son, Robin Patrick Goolsby; his five grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Amber Joy, Sierra and Ethan as well as a sister, Anne G. Bargeron.
