Betty Ann Pundt

Betty L. Pundt of Charleston, South Carolina died peacefully with her husband by her side on Thursday, December 6, 2012. Betty was born February 14, 1943, in Scranton, SC, eldest daughter to A.J. and Annie Mae Parrott Lee. She married Lawrence A. Pundt July 13, 1963 in Charleston, SC. They were happily married for 49 years. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; eldest son, David Allen; and nephew, Michael Willis. Betty is survived by her husband, Lawrence; son Paul and his daughter Lauren; son Weldon and his wife Alysha; and son John and his son Robert. She is also survived by Gladys and Al Lane; Mary Ruf; Shelby McShane; Linda and Elliot Willis, Lois Lane; Kristen Lane; Allen Willis; Mary Pundt; Helen and Garland Barker; Cathy Tucker; close family friends, Joanne and Ted Billman and Muriel and Sandy Sanders; and other family and friends. The relatives and friends of Betty L. Pundt are invited to attend a visitation with her family between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 PM this Friday, December 14, 2012, at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home. Services and Final Interment will be private.
