Bernadine Read Glenn

Bernadine Read Glenn, 97, of Charleston, entered into eternal rest Saturday, April 18, 2026.

Born July 21, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Hazel Bennett and Charles Read. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Thomas, her Grandson, Joseph Brittain Thomas, Great-grandchildren Samuel and Delilah Thomas, along with extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, William Brittain Glenn.

A Graveside Funeral Service for Bernadine Read Glenn will be held 1:00 PM Friday, April 24, 2026 at Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road, James Island. The service will be conducted by Rev. John Peters of Grace Point Church.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
