Barbara Louise Vanderlan

Barbara Louise Vanderlan, 84, of Summerville, SC passed away on August 22, 2016. Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday August 29, 2016 at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary St., Beaufort, SC, where she will be interred with her husband, Richard Lee Vanderlan, who preceded her in passing. Barbara was a homemaker and hospital volunteer par excellence who enjoyed bowling, golfing, movies, traveling and family reunions. She is survived by her daughter Michelle Beckham, and son Burt Vanderlan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ALS Foundation at alsa.org. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Gentiva/Hospice of Charleston for their support during her final days.
