Barbara Ann Gregorie

Barbara Ann Truesdell Gregorie, wife of Joseph Carl Gregorie of Charleston, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 18, 2010. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs Gregorie are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon, Friday, January 22, 2010 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends this Thursday, January 21, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway. Memorial donations may be made to Blessed Sacrament Church, Building Fund, 5 St. Teresa Dr., Charleston, SC 29407. or the Alzheimer's Association, PO Box 80459, Charleston, SC 29416-0459. Mrs. Gregorie was born in Charleston, a daughter of Joseph and Dorothy Coste Truesdell on Friday, March 26, 1937. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and the Perpetual Adoration at the church. Mrs. Gregorie enjoyed crocheting and ceramics. She will always be know for putting others before herself as well as being a good friend and companion. Mrs. Gregorie was a loving wife to her husband, a wonderful mother to her two children, Joseph C. Gregorie II and his wife, Michelle and John Gregorie and adored all six of her grandchildren, Gabrielle, Mary, Joseph, Emma, Abigail and Sarah, all survive her. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and two sisters-in-law.
