Barbara Ann Bryant

Barbara Ann Doyle Bryant, 80, widow of John Wesley Bryant, passed away on March 3, 2016. The relatives and friends of Barbara Ann Doyle Bryant are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Ashley River Baptist Church, 1101 Savannah Hwy. The family will receive friends after the service in the church Fellowship Hall. Inurnment will follow at Riverview Memorial Park. Barbara was born in Charleston, South Carolina on January 28, 1936, a daughter of the late LeRoy W. and Lona Mae Doyle. She attended Charleston High School. Barbara was a homemaker and loving mother to three sons. Survivors include her two sons, Kim D. Bryant and Stanton W. Bryant (Susan); two grandsons, Wesley D. Bryant and Cole E. Bryant; one granddaughter, Tonya McKnight (Chris); one great granddaughter, Lily Grace McKnight; and two sisters, Gayle Martin and Donna Sweat. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Gary Q. Bryant; and her sister, Linda Jean Doyle. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital Fund, P.O. Box 22643, Charleston SC 29413-2643 or to James Island Christian School, 15 Crosscreek Dr., Charleston, SC 29412. The family wishes to extend gratitude to Hospice of Charleston, Mt. Pleasant SC for their care and support in her final days.
