Arthur Louis Boswell

Mr. Arthur Louis Boswell, husband of Edna Louise Hughes Boswell, entered into eternal rest Friday, November 6, 2015, at the Hospice Care Center of Charleston. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Louis Boswell are invited to attend his Graveside Funeral Service 11:00 AM Monday, November 9, 2015 at Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road, Charleston. Rev. Glenn R. Davis will officiate. Mr. Boswell was born June 29, 1927, to Myrtle Howard and Luther B. Boswell. A veteran of the United States Navy, he served aboard the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt. He went on to graduate from the Citadel in 1949. Arthur was a successful insurance executive in both Charleston, SC and Augusta, GA. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Mr. Boswell is survived by his wife of 66 years; 4 children: Deborah L. Boswell (Steven Harris), Don Boswell, Linda K. Daube (Tom) and Greg Boswell (Janet); 5 grandchildren: Allison, Ryan and Lauren Daube and Brittany and Alex Boswell; and his sister, Ethel Boswell Knierem.
