Anthony Marino

Anthony Vincent Marino, 59, of Manhattan, NY, entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 6, 2021. He was born October 23, 1961, in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late Vincent Edward Marino and Elaine Lacqua Marino. Anthony was wrestling state champ in unlimited weight class in his senior year at Xaverian High School. He attended New York University and was the Executive Vice President at Marine Repair Services and Container Maintenance Corporation, the company founded by his father in 1971. Anthony was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.

Survivors include his wife, Diana Victoria Lopez; his daughter, Raquel Elaina, his mother, Elaine Lacqua Marino, his brother, Vincent James Marino and Pamela Smith Witt, his honorary brother, Barry Rohrssen and his sister in law, Dr. Aida Marina Lopez. He will be missed immensely and eternally by all who knew and loved him, including, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, on Friday, August 13, 2021, between 5:00 and 8:00 PM. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM.

The relatives and friends of Anthony V. Marino are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 888 King Street, Charleston, SC.

The Rite of Committal and burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, 70 Cunnington Ave., Charleston, SC
