Anne Clary Nigels

July 18, 1931 — February 21, 2010

"Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest". It is with great sorrow and joy that we inform those who knew her, Anne Clary Nigels that she has gone to be with Jesus on Sunday, Feb. 21st, 2010. Born July 18, 1931 in Union, SC she grew up in the West Ashley area and graduated from St. Andrews High School. In the summer of 1955, she met and married the love of her life, McLeod "Mac" Creighton Nigels. After moving to Leesburg, Florida she taught elementary education for many years and Sunday school for many more. She gave birth to two sons, Scott Mcleod Nigels of West Ashley and Mark Creighton Nigels of Moncks Corner. She has two special daughters in law, Cindy Nigels and Lisa Nigels. Mom was blessed with granddaughters Holly Jackson, Laurie Nigels, Kristen Cofran, Clary Nigels, Amanda Nigels, Kelsy Nigels and grandson Joey Nigels. Also great grandchildren Cameron Cofran, Cole Cofran and "Mac" Jackson. Mom was preceded in death by her husband of 50 yrs., "Mac" Nigels of Charleston and brother "Bud" Clary of Batesburg, SC. One of mom's favorite verses Romans 8:37, "Yet in all things we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us." Congratulations mom, you made it! You won over death because of His victory on the cross, welcome home at last good and faithful servant. We love you and will miss you - your family. Going home service will be held where she and "Mac" worshiped at Northbridge Baptist Church, 12 noon Wednesday, Feb. 24th, 2010. The burial will be held in Riverview Memorial Park.
