Entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 8, 2010, Annaline Dukes Lindsey, widow of Donald H. Lindsey, Sr. of Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Annaline D. Lindsey are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 3:00 PM. Thursday, March 11, 2010, at the First Baptist Church of Charleston with interment to follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy. on Wednesday afternoon between 4:00 and 6:00 PM. Mrs. Lindsey was born in Branchville, SC on September 20, 1912, the only child of Wilmer Hutto and Mamie Faulling Dukes and graduated from Memminger High School in 1930. She leaves a legacy of music having taught private piano lessons for thirty-four years. For over sixty-three years she gave of her time and talent to play piano for Sunday School at First Baptist Church of Charleston where she was a member for seventy years. A member of The Order of the Eastern Star, Mrs. Lindsey will be remembered as a patient, kind, and reserved Christian lady. She is survived by her son, Donald H. Lindsey, Jr. and his wife, Patricia; her grandchildren, Donald H. Lindsey III and his wife, Jodi, of Raleigh, NC and Nina L.
