Ann Boniface Molony

Ann Boniface Molony, 83, widow of Raymond Deal Molony, Sr. entered into eternal rest on September 5, 2013. She was the daughter of George Christopher and Helen Greene Boniface. Ann was born in Charleston on February 25, 1930. She graduated from St. Andrew's High School in 1946, attended the College of Charleston and then worked for the Citizens and Southern Bank. Ann and Raymond raised nine children at their West Ashley home. They were charter members of Blessed Sacrament Church as well as charter members of St. Joseph Catholic Church where Ann was an active member, serving as the coordinator of the Bereavement Committee for 20 years. She enjoyed her morning bridge club, which has been together for 55 years. In addition, she was part of the Bishop England lunchroom committee. Ann was predeceased by her granddaughter, Melissa Ann Smith. She is survived by her nine children; Raymond Deal Molony, Jr. (Brenda) of Beaufort, Bernard Charles Molony of Atlanta, Ann Molony Smith (Marion), Maureen Molony Forsberg (Danny), Michael Boniface Molony (Geraldine) of Columbia, Patricia Molony Weber (Mike), Richard George Molony, Joseph Lawrence Molony, Christine Molony Kaminer (Larry) of Lexington. Ann is also survived by her grandchildren; Bridget Molony Tupper (Lee), Raymond Deal Molony, III (Trey), Lauren Smith Gehlken (Trey), Amanda Caroline Smith, Natalie Christine Smith, Clair Molony Forsberg, Maura Christine Forsberg, Michael Boniface Molony II, Christopher Raymond Deal Molony, William Parrish Molony, Lindsay Taylor Weber, Michael Grayson Weber (Gray), Joseph Lawrence Molony, Jr., Joshua Molony Kaminer. She is also survived by two brothers; George I. Boniface of Charleston, and Bernard R. Boniface (Starr) of Stuart , FL. The relatives and friends of Ann Boniface Molony are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM, Monday, September 9, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Sunday, at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy.
