Angelyn Mcgill Ladue

Angelyn McGill Ladue, 76, of Charleston, SC died on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. The relatives and friends of Angelyn McGill Ladue are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 23, 2012, at St. Philip's Episcopal Church.. The family will receive friends in the parish hall following the service. The interment will be at 3:00 PM in Stokes Cemetery, 1791 Hendersonville HWY, Walterboro, SC. Angie was born on August 17, 1935, in Walterboro, SC, the daughter of the late William Ira McGill and Thelma Lucille Jaycocks McGill. Angie graduated from the School of Nursing of the Medical College of South Carolina in 1958. She retired from MUSC after 30 years of service as a registered nurse. She was a proud member of the Colonial Dames, the Junior League of Charleston, the Carolina Assembly, the Ladies Benevolent Society, the Garden Club of Charleston, and the Coastal Carolina Camellia Society. Angie is survived by her sons, Laurence Knight Ladue III and William Jaycocks Ladue; her daughter, Evelyn Ladue Wells; her son-in-law, Douglas George Wells; her five grandchildren, Catherine Lane Ladue, William Rawlins Lowndes Ladue, Anne Emmaline Ladue, Mary Evelyn Lowndes Wells, and Dohrman Hampton Preston Wells; and her dear friend, Thomas Grainge Simons V, all of Charleston.
