Amy Nicole DeChirico, 24, of James Island, entered into eternal rest Sunday, November 6, 2016. The relatives and friends of Amy Nicole DeChirico are invited to attend her Funeral Service 1:00 PM Friday, November 11, 2016 at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery on James Island. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Amy was born January 30, 1992, the daughter of Joe and Judy DeChirico. She graduated from James Island Charter High School, and also attended Germanna College in Fredericksburg, VA. Amy loved helping others and spending time with her friends and family, especially her two children. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Amy is survived by her daughters, Nicole Renee and Georgia Rae; her mother, Judy DeChirico; her father, Joe DeChirico (Margaret); her brother, Brian DeChirico (Mallary); maternal grandparents, Ed and Marie Ellington; and a large number of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Frank and Aline DeChirico. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, www.stjude.org.
