Amber Lee Jenness

Amber Lee Hempton Jenness, 63, of North Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 5, 2021. Amber's Funeral Service will be held 5:00 PM Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the James A. McAlister Funeral Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Amber was born on August 19,1957 in Norfolk, VA. Daughter of John A. Hempton, Jr. and Patricia Hempton.

In addition to Carl, her husband of 13 years, she is survived by her son, Dustin Guinn, his wife Lori and their three children, Keilee, Lexi, and Mylee. She is also survived by a brother, John “Andy” Hempton (Beth), and 3 sisters, Shelia Watson (Tony), Sharon Larnish (Jim), Cheryl Mitchell (Daryl), and many nieces and nephews.

Amber was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Johnnie Hempton.

In Lieu of flowers, gifts in Amber's memory may be made to the American Heart Association ( www.heart.org ) or Pet Helpers ( www.pethelpers.org ).
