Albert Herbert Marcus, 82, of Charleston, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Veterans Victory House in Walterboro. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Murray Marcus and Betty Aboff Marcus on Saturday, June 30, 1928. Mr. Marcus served our country in the Air National Guard of New York before enlisting into the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was the owner and operator of The House of Marcus, hair salon here in Charleston. Mr. Marcus is survived by his loving daughter, Shanon M McAlister; two sisters, Rosalind Dubin and her husband, Arnold and Leslie Marcus; a brother, Marvin Marcus and his wife, Norma and was predeceased by a granddaughter, Melinda A. Carter. The relatives and friends of Albert H. Marcus are invited to attend his Graveside Funeral Service at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 12, 2010 in Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundry St. Beaufort, SC 29902 with Military Honors.
