Adelle Victoria Skodinski

Adelle V. Skodinski (Spakanik) passed away February 27, 2013 at the Harvest Health Rehabilitation Center, John's Island, South Carolina. She was born September 19, 1923 to the late Frank Spakanik and Victoria Spakanik in Poland. Adelle became a United States Citizen. At the time of her death, she was widowed by the late Fred Skodinski. She had three sons. Preceding her death , the late Walter Galaska (2012) and is now survived by her loving son David Charles Kovitch(Kimberlee), of Portsmouth,Virginia , Raymond J. Galaska of Chicopee, Massachusetts, her loving grandson, Trevor Kovitch of Portsmouth, Virgina, her grandson Matthew Galaska, of Chicopee, Massachusetts, and a host of family and friends. She was a devout Catholic who loved reading a good book, movies, bowling and her family. Her home-going ceremony was held at James A. McAlister Funeral & Cremation in Charleston, South Carolina on March 1, 2013. She will be buried in her family plot at the St. Patrick Cemetary located in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts.
